September 20, 1989 — SCV Oak Tree Fall Classic, an activity of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce (which had recently renamed itself from the Newhall-Saugus-Valencia Chamber. It hadn't yet merged with the separate Canyon Country Chamber.)

From left: Veteran Major Leauge Baseball outfielder "Sweet Lou" Johnson of the L.A. Dodgers (1965-67); Bill Brady; Mark Brada of FastFrame; Michael D. Berger.

Berger, of Shearson, Lehman & Hutton (later Morgan Stanley Smith Barney), was chamber president at the time. He also served on the City of Santa Clarita Planning Commission from 1994-2008 (except for a 2-year period from 1996-1998) and was first elected in 2009 to the Santa Clarita Community College District (COC) Board of Trustees.
