Newhall, California

Newhall (Elementary) School, 1911. The school was located at the corner of Newhall Avenue and Lyons (then known as Tenth Street or Pico Road). This was Newhall's third school site, as two previous Newhall Schools near Walnut and Ninth Streets had burned to the ground. The school would move to its present location at Walnut and Eleventh Streets in 1928 and burn down again in 1939.
