Back side of Charles E. Sitzman's Soledad Hotel in Newhall at Spruce Street (later called Main Street) and 9th, showing view from 9th Street.

Although the one-story building which, as of 2017, houses the Way Station Coffee Shop was erected in 1964, it's apparent that the little structure out back, which for many years served as the Way Station's entrance, was a holdover from earlier times.
