Biography: Alan Ferdman has been a resident of Canyon Country since 1965 and has been a committed and
active member of our community. His volunteerism and memberships with many non-profits, service organi-
zations and committees has had a significant influence on our community and the thousands of individuals and
families who have benefited from Ferdman’s belief in giving back and his commitment to lend a hand. Ferdman
has been recognized as one of Santa Clarita’s “2014-15 22 Who Do,” “2012 & 2013 Top 51 Most Influential
People,” and has been nominated for the “2008 SCV Press Club Newsmaker of the Year” and previously nomi-
nated for the “2013, 2017 and 2018 Santa Clarita Valley Man of the Year.”

Organizational Impact: After four years on the Circle of Hope board, Taylor became president and continued
to chair COH’s signature fundraising event, Vine2Wine, raising over $107,000 to date under his guidance. He
recently oversaw and brought about COH’s move to a bigger and more diverse space. Taylor volunteers count-
less hours to Circle of Hope’s mission and is a founding member of Hope’s Haven Cancer Wellness Center,
a dream he has continued to pursue since joining the organization. The Center will bring multiple ancillary
healing and life-style services to local cancer patients, all free of charge. Taylor has spearheaded the communi-
ty-hosted fund raiser for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for the last six years. He has worked diligently to
plan a bowling event every year since 2012, putting effort into making the event bigger and better attended. To
date, Taylor has helped raise over $30,000 for CHLA. Taylor has always sought out ways to help personally and
to visit with the patients at CHLA, bringing dirt bike super stars to make the patients’ days a bit brighter. JCI:
Taylor’s involvement in JCI has helped propel young leadership involvement in community projects.
Biography: Taylor Kellstrom is a 29-year-old entrepreneur, philanthropist, real estate agent, and motivational
speaker. He was born and raised in Santa Clarita and is a graduate of both West Ranch High School and Col-
lege of the Canyons. He is the longtime owner of The Book Exchange – an off-campus college textbook store
