Organizational Impact: Laura supports Circle of Hope by volunteering her time and talents. She promotes the
organization at events and advocates to others to also support the organization. Laura is a member of the board
of directors, works on committees, fundraising events, the Afternoon Tea as part of the 31 Days of Hope cam-
paign, and provides for the needs of the organization and clients. Laura danced for Circle of Hope in Dancing
With Our Stars winning third place for fundraising benefiting the Circle of Hope. Laura has been a Soroptimist
for 11 years and with her passion and leadership immediately became involved. She has served on the board for
9 years. Through her countless hours of volunteerism and commitment Laura has served on committees for the
Fashion Show, Wine Affair, Dream It, Be It Program giving career support for girls, Blanket Factory, Annual
Soroptimist/Zonta Dinner Program, Nominating Committee Chair and all other programs and events within the
organization. Her efforts not only benefit our organization, but in turn have benefited over 20 SCV nonprof-
it organizations who have received over $200,000 in fundraising contributions creating a collaborative effort
between Soroptimist and meaningful causes in our community. Laura’s efforts and program involvement help to
improve the lives of women and girls in our community leading to their social and economic empowerment.
