Organizational Impact: Tami began volunteering for Rotary service projects and committees as soon as she
was inducted. She has acted as cashier at our Peach Cobbler event for the Cowboy Poetry Festival and at the
Powwow at Hart Park. She has helped with meeting set-up and presentations, and is currently Community Ser-
vice chair. In addition to her volunteer service, Tami has contributed financially to local Rotary service projects
and to projects serving the global community through Rotary International. Her contributions were essential
to our club receiving recognition from our Rotary District as a 100% Paul Harris Club, and recognition for the
2017 Every Rotarian Every Year program.
Biography: Tami was born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley and devotes much of her time and energy to
our community. A mother of four and a Realtor with HomeSmart, Tami is a leader in the Santa Clarita Valley
community. She has offered her time over the years to numerous organizations such as the Circle for Hope, the
Hart District Advisory Committee, The 4th of July Parade Committee, and SCVTV, a local nonprofit com-
munity television station through which she has created and produced a local talk show to promote all Santa
Clarita nonprofits. Tami is proud to be an active member of the Santa Clarita Valley Rotary Club where she has
taken an active role in promoting Rotary to the community. In 2016, Assemblyman Scott Wilk named Tami
the 38th District Woman of the Year for her work with the SCV nonprofits through her television show, SCV
Today.

Organizational Impact: Ender became a member of the board of Family Promise of SCV when the organi-
zation was created nearly eight years ago and has been an integral part in its development and program imple-
mentation. In a community with over 700 homeless students, Family Promise is the only organization provid-
ing immediate emergency shelter and structured support and case management services for homeless children
and their families. Ender works to advocate for these families and to recruit community and faith leaders sup-
port for those most in need. She has served as board president for six years and has led the board through its
infancy and now growth of programs to serve the wider homeless family population. As board president, she
has brought in 11 of our current 13 board members She has led our major fundraising event, Box City, for six
