Volleyball Booster
Organizational Impact: Laura supports Circle of Hope by volunteering her time and talents. She promotes the
organization at events and advocates to others to also support the organization. Laura is a member of the board
of directors, works on committees, fundraising events, the Afternoon Tea as part of the 31 Days of Hope cam-
paign, and provides for the needs of the organization and clients that we serve. Laura danced for Circle of Hope
in Dancing With Our Stars winning third place for fundraising benefitting the Circle of Hope. Laura gives back
to her community, whether up front or behind the scenes. Laura has been a leader with several nonprofit organi-
zations in Santa Clarita including the director of Marketing and Special Events for the SCV Chamber of Com-
merce, and event production for Samuel Dixon Family Health Center’s Rubber Ducky Festival.
Biography: Laura Kirchhoff was born in Santa Monica and raised in Marina del Rey where she met future
husband Bryan and married in 1981. The couple moved to Santa Clarita in 1982. It was not long before Laura
began volunteering. Once her children were born, Laura found numerous ways to be involved in their education,
volunteering at their schools and every sporting and youth activity they were involved in. For over 33 years,
Laura has given countless hours of her time through her volunteer efforts and leadership in Santa Clarita. Laura
Kirchhoff is currently the development manager for the American Diabetes Association, Greater Los Angeles
Area. Through her fundraising efforts, Laura brought the first Diabetes Prevention Program for children to Santa
Clarita. After serving as a volunteer, Laura became the director of Marketing and Special Events for the Santa
Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, being named Chamber Ambassador of the year in 2009. Laura was a
senior account executive with The Signal Newspaper and held positions as a design manager at JPS Surface
Solutions. Laura and Bryan have two children, Jeff and Amanda.
