SEC. 1111. SAINT FRANCIS DAM DISASTER NATIONAL MEMORIAL AND
NATIONAL MONUMENT.
Ca) DEFINITIONS.-ln this section:
Cl ) MEMORIAL.-The term "Memorial" means the Saint
Francis Dam Disaster National Memorial authorized under
subsection Cb)(l ).
C2) MONUMENT.-The term "Monument" means the Saint
Francis Dam Disaster National Monument established by sub-
section Cd)Cl ).
C3) SECRETARY.-The term "Secretary" means the Secretary
of Agriculture.
C4) STATE.-The term "State" means the State of California.
Cb) SAINT FRANCIS DAM DISASTER NATIONAL MEMORIAL.-
Cl ) ESTABLISHMENT.-The Secretary may establish a memo-
rial at the Saint Francis Dam site in the county of Los Angeles,
California, for the purpose of honoring the victims of the Saint
Francis Dam disaster of March 12, 1928.
C2) REQUIREMENTS.-The Memorial shall be-
CA) known as the "Saint Francis Dam Disaster National
Memorial"; and
CB) managed by the Forest Service.
C3) DONATIONS.-The Secretary may accept, hold, admin-
ister, invest, and spend any gift, devise, or bequest of real
or personal property made to the Secretary for purposes of
developing, designing, constructing, and managing the Memo-
rial.
Cc) RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MEMORIAL.-
Cl ) IN GENERAL.-Not later than 3 years after the date
of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to Congress
recommendations regarding-
CA) the planning, design, construction, and long-term
management of the Memorial;
CB) the proposed boundaries of the Memorial;
CC) a visitor center and educational facilities at the
Memorial; and
