u The enclosed documents describe the activities of the Blacksmith Shop Committee during the months

of January, and February.
In addition to the information contained in the documentation, we of the committee are working in
the following areas.
n First, it is our understanding that our "Use Permit" (Lease,) agreement with the County of Los
Angeles, Parks and Recreation Department is ''up" for renewal this year. And, that during the
.. negotiation of the new "Use Permit," it may be possible to modify the present Negative Declaration
a but, the replication of Historically Significant Buildings, and/or Museums through "New
Document so as to cover not only the relocation of Historically Significant buildings to the premises,

In order to move forward in this effort, we must locate, and provide to Ms. Carlton a copy of the
existing Negative Declaration Document, and the related "paper work." We will need help from the
Board of Directors, and old time members of our Society, to locate this information.
