This partial photograph of the Newhall Girl Scouts of 1946 comes from Judy Stevens (neé Judy Borden), who grew
up on the Newhall-Potrero Oil Lease and is seen here in the top row, center. Judy Stevens taught math at
Placerita Junior High School and Saugus High School from 1970 to 1996.

third from right Carolyn (nee Morrison) Klump; fifth from right might be Janie Slayton.
