Oct. 20, 1958: Los Angeles Times (Valley Edition) photo of a portion of the E.T. Carey ranch at 15771 Roxford St., Sylmar. Bob Addington, discoverer (on the Tejon Ranch) of Tiburcio Vasquez's spurs, lived in a line shack on the E.T. Carey ranch.

Original caption reads:

OLD INDIAN TRAIL — Looking northwest toward corral on E.T. Carey ranch near San Fernando, old Indian trail may still be seen where it winds up sun-baked slope toward Fremont Pass. Trail led to Newhall and points north when Indians traveled from village to village. — Valley Times photos.
