The assassinations of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. and Senator Robert Kennedy, along with
                                             protests against the war in Vietnam, proliferate the news in 1968. In Santa Clarita, community
                                             leaders converge to form a new organization for local youth.
                                             Plaques are presented to supporters of Newhall-Saugus Boys Club. Supervisor Warren Dorn
