The 1988 Trails yearbook was completed by the Canyon High School
Photo Journalism class. The staff advisor was Mrs. Faye Valeentine and
the Editor-in-chief was Michelle Crowder.
The yearbook was printed by Herff Jones yearbooks at the plant in Logan,
Utah. Sales representative Dave Smith provided valuable advice.
The Theme "Going Platinum" was used to celebrate Canyon's 20th anni-
versary. Michelle Crowder, the Editor-in-chief, orginated this idea. The
cover of the book had a gold brush base material with a green foil stamp.
The platinum metal-lay on the cover was record-like in appearance. Song
titles and lyrics were interwoven throughout, which also added a musical
tone to the book.
.....
Eighty pound Bordeaux paper was used and the color pages were printed //11/1
on Eurogloss paper. The type and headlines for the book were; Copy
(IOpt. ), Capt ion (8pt. ), and Headlines ( 48pt. ).
