"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
-Confucius
As an eighth grader, it is hard to let go of the past, and move on towards the future. In the past, we have done
many activities such as Portfolio Day, Crime Busters, reading The Diary of Anne Frank, suffering through math
class, and a trip to the imaginary world of Beach Day. All these activities require hard work, concentration, and
have an element of fun.
When we hear the word "fun," friends are the first to coine in mind, whether they are teachers or peers. At
graduation, we go our separate ways. If we are lucky, we will see each other again in the future. When we leave
this school, we just hope that we have made a positive impact on next year's 8th graders, and that they will enjoy
their stay at Castaic Middle School just as much as we did.
