       Since opening 40 years ago, College of the Canyons has served as a gateway to higher
     education, professional training and, by extension, opportunity for the Santa Clarita Valley.
     It has cultivated a reputation for unequaled access to higher education, unparalleled service,
     and a passionate pursuit of excellence that is respected by our colleagues, appreciated by our

     partners, supported by our students, and energized and fueled by our dedicated faculty and
     staff.  The  college’s  commitment  to  excellence  is  a  tradition  reflected  by  its  innovative,

       As the next chapters of the college’s history are written, we know the outstanding foun-
