1.2 PLANNING PROCESS

T he participants in the planning process for the 2017-2022 Facilities Master Plan include the College of the Canyons planning team, the College’s

Facilities Committee, and KBZ’s Architectural team.

This planning process included a series of meetings to review analyses of existing conditions at the College of the Canyons’ Valencia and
Canyon Country campuses, and then to review projected enrollment and to cultivate and evaluate development options for each of the
campuses.

This interactive process resulted in the development of the recommendations described in this Facilities Master Plan.
