              in g   p r o h ib its   h e r  from   m aking.  The  duty  o f  th e   school  n u rse

              in clu d es  making  heme  v i s i t s ,   encouraging  p a re n ts  and  g uard ians

               to   have  p h y sic a l  d e fe c ts   rem edied,  and  secu re  d e n ta l  trea tm en t

              f o r   c h ild re n   whose  te e th   need  a tte n tio n .

                        In   C astaic  Union,  /F elto n ,  Honby,  and  Hew  F ra  Schools

              m ost  o f  th e   h e a lth   in s tru c tio n   i s   given  hy  th e   te a c h e r  a s

              th ey   do  n o t  employ  th e   s e rv ic e s   o f  a   school  n u rse .  Newhall


              School  employs  a   school  n u rse  s ix   days  p e r  month  and  Saugus
              School  h u t  one.  The  n u rse  d iv id e s  th is   tim e  in to   h a lf   days,


              th u s  v i s i ti n g   Saugus  tw ice  m onthly,  and  Newhall  from  th re e

              to   f iv e   tim es  a   weak.      S ince  th e   n u rse   liv e s   in   N ew hall,  she

              comes  to   th e   school  any  tim e  she  i s   c a lle d   by  th e   p r in c ip a l,

              o fte n   b ein g   a t   th e  school  p a r t  o f  each  day  d uring   th e   week.

                        Any  c h ild   n o t  f e e lin g   w ell  o r  whom  th e   te a c h e r  f e e ls

              has  symptoms  o f  a   contagious  d ise a se   in   th e   Newhall  School
