PLANS COMPLETED

LOS ANGELES-Pacific Coast Properties and Signature
Homes jointly announced today completion of plans for
the new, modern 20-acre shopping center to be situated
within the North Oaks community near Newhall. Designed
to put complete shopping handy to each resident's door,
the new center will include, among other facilities, a huge
supermar~et, custom apparel shops, furniture stores, a
variety chain store, a novelty store, and community ser-
vices. The 20-acre shopping center will join a Modern
Medical and Professional center now being planned to
provide offices for doctors, dentists, and other professional
men.

3 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, JUNIOR HIGH PLANNED

WITHIN NEW NORTH OAKS CITY

NEWHALL-Plans have been revealed for one of today's
most comprehensive educational systems, designed
to serve the new North Oaks community near Newhall.
According to spokesmen, no fewer than three elementary
schools will assure a basic education within walking
distance for every child at North Oaks. In addition, a new
junior high school will be strategically located within
the community. Rounding out the complete educational
facilities of the area will be Newhall's presently expanding,
multi-million dollar William S. _Hart Union High School.
