The Pitchess Detention Center contains three operational custody facilities housing a combined
average of approximately 6,500 inmates. The three operational custody facilities are the North
County Correctional Facility, East Facility, and North Facility. Additionally, there are approximately a
dozen support facilities on the property. Number of employees: 780 sworn deputies; 650 civilians.
