the way

for a successful year was the fine
administrative staff led by Mr.
Mike Shuman. He was assisted by
Mr. Jim Tanner, whose duty it
was to see to the everyday rou-
tine of running the school. Kep-
ping busy in student management
was our Dean, Mr. Kirk Alger,
whose office was often the busiest
spot in school. Helping solve stu-
dents' problems were the ever
busy counselors who were extra
busy this year trying to smooth
out the problems of the new
"open registration." Always on
hand with a smile and assistance,
no matter hor high the paper
work stacked, was the talented
staff of secretaries.

Placerita 's patient counselors were kept busy soothing out parent/student problems~ guiding and counseling anx-
ious students and generally doing what they could to keep Placerita a happy place to be: Filling these demand-
ing positions were Mrs. Virginia Lind, ninth grade counselor, Mr. Frank Nogales, eighth grade counselor and
Mrs. Judy Webber, seventh grade counselor.
