TREASURER'S REPORT
Treasurer Karen Sutton reported income of $6.38 and expenses of $424 for May.
Year to date income $5,457.51, expenses $3,442.84.
CORRESPONDENCE
0 Corresponding Secretary Jean Woods reported the following letters are on the
Bulletin Board: Chinese Historical Society, Historical Society of Southern
California, San Fernando Valley Historical Society Heritage and Hi.story,
Cent!nella Valley Historical Society.
June 20~3, 1985 is the oonvention of the Conference or California Historical
Societies in Long Beach at the Breakers Hotel.
Saturday, June 28, Historical Society of Southern California is offering a tour
of the Ill.mmis Home. Details and directions on the Bulletin Board.
Sunday, July 14, Bar B Que 12-3 P.M. Centinela adobe 7634 Midfield, L.A..
Keep in mind that on Sunday, October 13, Pomona Valley Historical Society will
have a Bar B Que and tour of The Mansion and Spadra Cemetery. Details later in
their monthly bulletin.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Betty announced a geneology group is forming. Anyone interested can sign up after
the meetiog. J. docent group is forming for leading tours or the station on
Sundays from 2:00 to 4:00. Sign up after the meeting. It will be Sunday June 23,
12:00 at the station.
The lliklik Chapter e:f the D.A.R. donated a three panel landscape painting by
Carol lundberg which vas used as a backdrop of their presentation of the play
