PRINCIPAL 'S MESSAGE

This yearbook will mean a great deal to me in the years to come as it will to each of you. It will re-
mind us both of the many achievements and friendships of this first year at Sierra Vista as a complete
school. Many thanks to the entire yearbook staff for a job well done.
As your principal, I will spend many happy and memorable hours as I leaf through the pages of this book,
associating your picture with the contribution you have made to this school.
The school and the principal are new, and newness has a special significance that is always remembered.
For you, there will be other schools and other yearbooks and this is as it should be. For me, this school,
and this first year as principal both have a special meaning which I want to long remember. This Plains-
men will make it possible for me to do so.
The yearbook reflects in word and picture what each of us has always known that here at Sierra Vista
exists a junior high school second to none.
