The Newhall-Saugus Boys' Club welcomes you to another fabulous auction
evening. The success of our first auction has prompted us to produce this
second annual event and we've got a whole new list of prizes to offer you!

The Boys' Club of Newhall-Saugus
is a chartered member of Boys' Club
of America and is headquartered in
Newhall. Besides out ·main clubhouse,
we maintain four satellite quarters
in Saugus and Valencia at Valley
View School, Skyblue Mesa School,
Emblem School and St. Stephen's
Episcopal Church. ,.

The purpose of our club is to
provide after-school recreation, edu-
cation, skills and guidance to all
youngsters in the communities of
Newhall, Saugus, Valencia and Cas-
taic.

Our club is considered '' a model''
by Boys' Club .of America and by
the United Way Agency. We were
one of the initiators of the "Out-
reach Program" to extend our ser-
vices to hitnerto inaccessible sub-
urban areas. We were also one of the
first Boys' Clubs to admit girls,
who presently comprise 30% of our
membership. Our five club centers
combined serve an incredible 225
children each day, and their facil-
ities are used by over 1,200 dif-
ferent youngsters during the year.
Our plans for the future include
further expansion to other outlying
areas with our own mobile club-
houses.

For our operations, we are funded
by the local United Way Agency, by
contributions from private citizens
and by fund-raisers such as this
auction.
