WHO TO WATCH

Brian Shinkle
Ever wonder how one person
can run so hard, and come out
victorious time after time? Well
Brian Shinkle, a senior at
1 Valencia, has done just this.
For the past three and a half
years, Shinkle has been running
competively in both Cross
Country and Track & Field.
Not only is he athletically active
in school, but he also snow
boards and surfs in his spare
time. Shinkle has definitely
demonstrated a strength in his
sport after receiving the MVP
award in Cross Country, and
states he's always loved running.
He has also been awarded a
Viking Valor award and a Varsity
letter. Brian Shinkle will con-
tinue his success in his last year
running for the school.
