In the early hours before school
begins, some students are at swim
practice or finishing homework, while
others are getting ready for school.
Ten minutes before the first bell rings
a few students roll out of bed and
arrive just short of being tardy.

Sophomores Juliet Avery and Adam
Albers (1) hang out in the gym
building hallway before the bell rings.
Freshman Dillion Davis (2) picks up
a tardy pass, after the final bell, on
his way to class. Freshmen Daniella
Menashe and Aleksandra Spivak (3)
buy and sell chocolate before going to
class. Freshman Elodie Jones ( 4) fixes
her hair in front of the girls' bathroom
mirror. Sophomore Zachary Knoles (5)
buys french toast sticks for breakfast
at the school's cafeteria.

Sophomore Sara Wedel (6) makes
herself a peanut butter and jelly
sandwich for lunch in the mor. · g,
rather than buy lunch later at school.
Before sophomore Krista Pickard (7)
leaves the house, she makes sure tha
her hair is nicely groomed. After
arriving at school, juniors Scott Harris,
Justin Crissman, P trick Spiker,
Mitchel Morris and Collin Gingrich (8)
hang out in Scott's car until the bell
rings. Sophomore Samual Fleischer
(9) listens and dances to his music on
campus before class. Junior Brenda
Thomas (10) arrives to Mr. Killinger's
class befor--e the bell rings and
organizes her school supplies for the
day's lesson. Freshman Lexie Smith
(11) stops by S & S Doughnuts to get
some juice on her way to school. Junior
Jennifer Stewart (12) also goes to S &
S Doughnuts but chooses doughnuts
instead. Freshman Kyle Cunliffe
(13) waits for the bell to ring for his
second period class, while earlier that
day senior Heather Gerbe ( 14) walked
into her first period art class. Senior
Amy Jee Huh (15) gets to school early
to finish some last minute homework
in the library with fellow Valencia
High School students. Seniors Irene
Patino, Jillian Tempesta and Melissa
Rose (16) arrive at school early and
hang out until the bell rings.
