Two-thousand and six to year two-thousand
and seven - approximately one-hundred and eighty
school days, an entire year in itself. Each day as an
opportunity that arises with the alleviation of the early
morning sun - the dawn of a new day. And each day as
another experience that life has to offer us, no matter
what shape or form it may be. What we find as another
year passes us is that, whether or not we desire to
remember it, it has happened and encompasses more
than just trials and tribulations, simply life at its prime.
Despite it all, these are the years of our life. This is life
as we experienced it, from the nerves of an upcoming
AP European history test to the relief of making the
right play in the big game, to the struggle of passing
Algebra II to the first-ever prom. Here's to the lunches
and brunches and chocolate chip cookies. Here's to
the years of those late night drives with our friends and
the music reverberating throughout the car's interior.
Here's to 2006 and 2007 ... and the years to come.
