The Piru Mansion, aka the Newhall Mansion at Piru, was built from 1889 to 1893 by evangelist David Caleb Cook. It was owned by the Warrings, a ranching family, from the 1930s to the 1960s when it was sold to Scott and Ruth Newhall.
