Robert Conrad stars as Lt. Col. Gregory "Pappy" Boyington in "Baa Baa Black Sheep," Episode 1.09 ("New Georgia On My Mind"), original air date November 30, 1976.

Exterior scenes such as this were filmed at Indian Dunes — Newhall Land and Farming Company property on the south side of Highway 126 in Valencia.

NBC handout photo for the rerun on Thursday, May 5, 1977. Season 1 originally aired on Tuesdays; now it was moving to Thursday for the repeats. The series returned for a second season in December 1977 — on Wednesdays; then it was dropped. Afterward, when it went to syndication, the series was retitled "Black Sheep Squadron."
