Alyce Lea (Manzer) Mitchell
Hart High Class of 1962


Alyce Lea (Manzer) Mitchell died Thursday, June 1, 2017, after a long illness. She was a resident of the Santa Clarita Valley for many years prior to her passing.

Born Nov. 29, 1944, in Fullerton, Calif., she attended Saugus and Castaic elementary schools, followed by William S. Hart Junior and Senior High School from which she graduated in 1962.

She is survived by her daughters, Shandi Dollman of Marina del Rey, Calif., and Angela Allen of Acton, Calif.. She was blessed with four grandchildren: Brittany and Morgan Schwegler and Owen and Bryce Allen. Brittany also blessed her with her two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Zoe Bouge.

She also leaves her sister, Karen Tibbitts of Newhall, and brother, Darryl Manzer of Bullhead City, Ariz., and many friends in Baja California, Southern California and Washington state.

She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, a loving sister and steadfast friend to all she knew. She will be missed and remembered with only loving thoughts.

A memorial service with family and friends will be a celebration of her life at noon on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her sister Karen's home in Newhall.
