Sammye Morene Craigo, age 82, died peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2015, in Newhall, CA. She was born February 17, 1933, in Wichita Falls, TX, the daughter of Carl W. Williford and Ruby L. Fletcher.
Sammye enjoyed dancing, sewing, crafts, and her family. She married her husband of 63 years, Ron Craigo, after a brief two?month courtship.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ron; her three children and their spouses: Terry and Barry Darden, Kim and Mike Tipre, Rick and Terri Craigo; her grandchildren: Kenny and Michelle, Jeff, Chris, Kari, Jami and Scott, and Mandi; her great-grandchildren: Alex, Nikki, Kaige, Jordan, Sierra, Lucas, Jeffrey Jr., Natalie, and Cadence.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321.
