had been confined for severnJ we€ks, 1\•fonday to go to a Whittier rest home. Biscailuz, a Spa.nish~Basque, is a
brother of the late Martin Biscai!uz, the sherif'!:"'s father. He lived for many years in San Fernando and Ne'JVhalL
where he has a \Vide circle of friends among the Spanish and Basque residents. He ,vas an employe of the
Standard Oil Co. for J:5 y€ars until he ,11·as pensioned more than ten years ago."

Beach.
