                  Sheriffs Uncle Leaves Hospital for Rest Home

                  "William Biscai!uz. 75 year-old uncle of Sheriff Eugene W. Biscailuz, left Torrance tv1emoria!  hospital, where he
                  had been confined for severnJ we€ks, 1\•fonday to go to a  Whittier rest home.  Biscailuz, a Spa.nish~Basque, is a
                  brother of the late Martin Biscai!uz, the sherif'!:"'s  father.  He lived for many years in San Fernando and Ne'JVhalL
                  where he has a \Vide circle of friends among the  Spanish and Basque residents.  He ,vas an employe of the
                  Standard Oil Co. for J:5 y€ars until he ,11·as  pensioned more than ten years ago."

                 Rosary services for  Mrs Anita Lopez Bisct1iluz, 73 year old aunt of Sheriff Eugene Biscailuz and a member of
                 one of the Southland's early California families. will be conducted at 8 pm. today in the chapel of the Noble
                 f\-1ortuaf) 1  in  San  Fernande)~

                 Mrs.  Biscailuz died Tuesday night at the home of a daughter,  ~,,frs.  L. W.  Colton, of 2 l I l  E.  fourth St. Long
                 Beach.

                 Funeral Senrices wiH  he conducted tomorrow at  to:30 a.m.  in the New"l"mH Catholic Church.  Besides her
                 husband, \Vi!liam J.  Biscai!u:z. she leaves five daughters, Mrs.  Colton, Mrs. T. \V.   ~,.-trs.  Honorina B.
                 Cockburn, ~-;1Jrs.  George A. Curl and Mrs. Joan B Rice;  Four sons, \Vil!iam Jr., Valentino A .•  Raytnond and
                 Roland C Biscai!uz: l 2 grandchildren and three great gnmdcbiidren.
