                                                                 Arden Edwards in 1928.  But before he
                                                                 homesteaded his Antelope Valley site he
                                                                 owned a home in Eagle Rock,  CA.  Eagle Rock
                                                                 is located north east of Los Angeles,  near
                                                                 Pasadena.

                                                                 Recently his former home, that he named
                                                                 Happy Camp,  was put for sale.  This gave those
                                                                 of us interested an opportunity to visit it.

                                                                 The Listing read:
                                                                     •  Designed by Architect and Artist Arden
                                                                         Edwards in 1910
                                                                     •  1207 Kipling Ave.  Eagle Rock.  A
                                                                         Historical Cultural Monument
                                                                     •  2 Bedroom,  1 bath  1,  186 sq.  ft.
                                                                     •  Described as  "cozy, secluded,  a bit
                                                                        funky"

                                                                 It sounded so interesting!  Arriving at the
                                                                 address, the house can barely be seen from the
                                                                 street, as it's built high on a very steep lot.
                                                                 Entering through a gate, we climbed the stone

        kept the parking lot organized. They also
        provided much needed assistance setting up
        the event and putting everything away
        afterwards.
