                                                                  I can't help but think that what he learned
                                                                  from building and decorating this house he
                                                                  applied to the much larger house he built
                                                                  among the rocks of Piute Butte, now known as
                                                                  the AV Indian Museum.

                                                                  The 2017 Holidays on the Homestead event will
                                                                  be held at the museum on Saturday,  December
                                                                  2 nd   from 5 to 8 pm. Admission will be $10 for
                                                                  adults, $5 for kids age 6 to 12. Kids age 5 and
                                                                  under are free.


                                                                  The event will feature a holiday craft show,  a
                                                                  chili cook-off, and cowboy songs by the
                                                                  campfire.


                                                                  If you are interested in competing in the chili
                                                                  cook-off or applying for a craft booth, please
                                                                  contact organizer Jean Rhyne at the museum
