Golden Hopes

accompamed the 1977-78 Varsity football team as
they entered the new league. Of all the "schools m the
Santa Clanta Valley, Hart was the only one to make
the C I.F playoffs. The football season ended for the
players after a 14-28 loss to R10 Mesa Several
members were chosen for the all-league team. Dan
Hetsel, Ray Greenlee, Lance Stemmann, Jeff
McKmney, Rick Fox, and Rusty Walter At the
Award Banquet, 3 outstandmg members were
honored. The most valuable players were Dan Hetsel
and Charles Ingram, Rusty Walter was most
mspirational, and most improved was Bnan Pennela
Coach Aldnch expressed his smcere thanks to the
players and their hard work.

receiver Charles Ingram turns the corner on sweep in 20-17
win over Burbank. 3 Ray Greenlee quarterbacks Hart offense
and a win over Canyon. 4. All C.I.F linebacker Dan Hetzel
calls defense signals. 5. Wide receiver Jeff McKinney prepares
to run one of his many successful routes.
