was within reach for the 1977 78 Sophomore Football
Team with a record of 8-1 High spmts and enthusiasm
helped the sophomores to defeat the Burros of
Ridgecrest for the 1977 Sophomore Golden League
title. Mr Ford and Mr Weil, the Golden League
champ10n coaches, brought team umty along with
experience that helped win so many games As the
season reached its end, the football banquet took place
with the following award-winning players honored.
Most Valuable Player, Joe Jennerson, Most
Inspirat10nal, Steve De Seve, Most Improved, Steve
Greaney; Most Valuable Defensive Back, Sid Gent,
Most Valuable Offensive Back, Dana Provost, and the
outstanding Defensive Player was Bill Fitzpatrick.
