"Over The River

and through the woods" could have been a pep cheer for the
1977 cross country team. Although this was not the most
encouragmg season, the team practiced hard and kept the Hart
spirit alive. The boy's captam was Tony Capitelh, and the girl's
captam was Lynn Davidson. The awards banquet was consisted of
many awards. Most valuable runners were Tony Capitelh and Beth
Howe. While the coach's awards were given to Rick Rooney and
Rita Gomez, the most improved runners were Mike Randal and
Vicki Sudick. Rick Broman had an excellent season and was voted
outstandmg sophomore. Two runners, Beth Howe and Ron Babara,
placed fifth and sixth m league finals.
