Games
The volleyball teams added
new meaning to the old adage,
"Winning isn't everything.,;-
They displayed the importance
of teamwork and participation
throughout the year.
The varsity team fared quite
well. Despite a slow start, the
team made C.I.F. for the first
time in three years. Two of its
members, Dena Block and
Christine Smith, achieved the
honor of joining the all-league
first team. Noteworthy mem-
bers of the team were:

Best Server: Michele Samuels
Best Defense: Kim Flowers
Hart Opponent Best Spiker: Dena Block

Alhambra 18-16, 15-8 volleyball team started its sea-

enjoyed an interesting season
