Choir. Members joined the council to

help organize the choral music program
and the choirs' performances. The work
that the members did included tasks as
diverse as setting up the risers on the
stage to managing the ticket sales to
deciding on the singers' wardrobe to
supervising backstage activities. Ms.
Dooley, the music advisor, is very proud
of and grateful forthechoircouncil. She
said, "I am honored to work with such
dedicated, responsible and hardworking
students. They are the foundation of our
music program." The counci I partici-
pated in many fundraisers throughout
the year. The money raised helped to
fund fees for their many competitions, as
well as for sheet music, costumes, new
equipment and accompanists' fees. The
counci I helped Ms. Dooley prepare for
the Winter Concert held in December at
the Hart High School Auditorium. The
council hopes to enhance the choirs'
growth and to strengthen the choral
music program at Saugus High School.

work together to decide on the order of the
acts at the Winter Concert.
