beach clean-ups in Ventura, and also enter-

the mentally challenged. Key Club mem-
bers hosted College Day and the Saugus
Boutique. Mrs. Blok and Mr. Fong, the
advisors, put in a lot of effort in searching
for new and exciting service opportunities.
Many members were also involved in ser-
vice organizations that are not affi I iated
with the school, such as volunteering at the
American Red Cross. Megan Ivey and
Kiley Kniest said, "We spend time with so
many people with big hearts, and watch
howthey use their love and kindness to help
our community." Key Club has grown dra-
matically and has become more efficient
under the leadership of Patricia Hwang.
The club is honored with the addition of
more and more students who join every
year to make their community a better
          place.
