8 months, height five foot five inches, estimated weightabout a
9 hun4.red and seventy-five pounds, dark brownhair and light complexion
10 Further examinationshowed numeroussuperficialscratches
11 and bruises scatteredover the body, the face and thelimbs.
12 There was a deep gash three inches long :tnm the centerfrontof
13 the left leg. There was a laceration diagonally ofthe right
14 forehead. The lungs were red and inflamedand containedwater.
15 The trachea contained mud and silt. The other ---1
16 exceptfor markedcongestion. The stomachcontained a considerable
1 amount of silt. From these findings the deduction wasmadethat
18 death was due to drowning.
