Murray Tobias


Murray Tobias of Newhall, California, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, 5 IYAR 20 OMER 5775. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 11:00 AM at Groman Eden Mortuary in the Groman Eden Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Memorial Park. Murray is survived by his daughters, Barbara (Cyndi) Tobias, Elaine (Stuart) Nathan, Yetta (Henry) Tobias Bennett; his grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer, and Brian; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Spencer.

Murray was predeceased by his beloved wife, Molly, his brothers, Albert and Harold, and his parents, Joseph Meyer and Minnie.

Murray was an active member of the Freemasons and Past Master of Home Lodge No. 721. He was an expert tool and die maker and after retirement was very involved on the board of his community in Friendly Valley. Both he and his wife Molly took pride in their volunteer activities, most recently at Kaiser Hospital.
