School Prayer

Now before we work today
We must not forget to pray
To God help us through the night
And brought us to the morning light.
Help us Lord to love Thee more
Than we ever have before
In our work and in our play
Be now with us today.

School colors: Blue and gold

School flowers: Lupins and daisies

1st to 8th grade

Teachers spent 15 minutes on each subject

Usually 13 children attended

1927: 18 students

1932: Phil Sitzman, 6th grade; Barbara Sitzman and Lois Cheney, 5th grade; Nicolene Cheney, 3rd grade.

Bernice Brombacher, teacher.

School closed this year of 1932.

Webmaster's note: The Felton School District was founded in 1885 and dissolved after the 1932 school year for lack of a sufficient student body. After 1932, Pico children attended Newhall School.
