A musing, enjoyable
1971
Canyon has many different types
of students. Student activities vary,
as do the students. But whatever
the activity, one can rest assured
that a great deal of planning, cre-
ativity, and hard work went into it.
Nineteen seventy-one brought
many traditional events such as
formals, dances, plays, musicals,
rallies, etc. However, two new ac-
tivities became established tradi-
. tions. They were Haywire, the sen-
ior class talent show, and the
senior-junior powder puff football
game.
Th e Hom ecoming Dance, which was
casuul, had a var iety of styles ranging
