cheese  n  fl  been  unsidedown  cornbread

             2  tbsp.  butter
             l½  lbs.  ground  beef
             1  oup  chopped  onion
             1  tbsp.  flour
             1  (6  ounce)  can  tomato  paste
             1  teasp.  salt
             1  teasp  chili  powder
 J          1/8  teasp.  black  pepper
            1  cup  (4  ounces)  Cheddar  Cheese
            ½ cup  sliced  pitted  ripe  olives
            1  (18  ounce)  package  corn  muffin  mix

             In  a  large  skillet,  melt  butter;  add  beef  and
            onion  and  cook  until beef  is  lightly brouned.
            Stir  in  flour;  add  tomato  paste,  salt chili powder
            and  pepper.
            Remove  from  heat;  add  cheese  and  olives.
            Spread  evenly  over  bottom  of 9xl2  inch  square
            pan.  Prepare  muffin  mix  according  to  package
            directions;'  spread  over  beef mixture;  bake
            in  pre  heated  4oo 0   over  30-40  minutes.  Let
            stand 5 minutes;  loosen  around  edges  and
            invert  onto  serving  platter.  Makes  8
            servings.
