mindful that the North County area (including the Santa Clarita

and Antelope Valleys), which appears to be a small inset on the

average county map, is actually sixty per cent of the land area of

the entire county.

As the proposed city will be contracting for services from

Los Angeles County, the Sheriff, Fire and Paramedic services now

provided to the outlying unincorporated areas will continue to be
readily and efficiently provided.

F. If a waiver under Government Code Section 54790 (g) is

requested, explain why the prohibition of an island would be
detrimental to the orderly development of the community and why
