Steve has also been our Volunteer Lunch Sponsor/Donor since 2012 for our Annual Golf Classic, which helps
raise funds for Emergency Services at Henry Mayo. Meetings he attends immediately produce such a posi-
tive, “Let’s Do This!” vibe, that everyone involved wants to go out and accomplish what he has. Steve is also
not one to let his store managers do all the work. At the many fundraisers we’ve held on the hospital campus,
Steve’s been right there alongside his employees, rolling up his sleeves and serving Jersey Mike’s sandwiches
        with a warm smile.
Biography: Stephen Youlios is the owner of six Jersey Mike’s Subs in the Santa Clarita Valley. He began his
career with Jersey Mike’s 10 years ago with the opening of his first store at the corner of Newhall Ranch Road
and Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus. Over this ten-year period, he opened stores in Stevenson Ranch and
Golden Valley and purchased two existing stores in Canyon Country and Valencia. Together these stores serve
all areas of the Santa Clarita community. After graduating from Northwestern University, Steve spent 25 years
in the radio broadcasting business, working for CBS Radio and Clear Channel Communications. During that
period, he worked in various sales and management positions including vice president of Sales of the CBS
Radio Network in addition to director of Sales for KFWB Radio and the Dodgers Radio Network. He changed
careers after 25 years in the broadcast industry when he joined Jersey Mike’s Subs. He developed a thorough
understanding of the company’s philosophy of community service. During the past 10 years, Jersey Mike’s has
grown from just under 400 stores to over 1,500 nationwide. The brand is synonymous with developing part-
nerships with the organizations that make up the communities it serves. Jersey Mike’s Subs in the Santa Clar-
ita Valley has dedicated itself to working with the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation and the WiSH
Foundation of the Hart School District. When not working at Jersey Mike’s, Steve serves on the Parish Council
for Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Northridge, and is the treasurer of the church. He also serves on
the board of the Saint Nicholas School, a parochial elementary school in Northridge. He is the treasurer of the
        school.
