Mike Sherreitt's feeling about
the Industrial Arts equipment.
Head of the area and formed y
a shop teacher at Hart, he was
very
happf
with the situation in the Indus-
trial Arts and Arts and Crafts
areas. The only exception was
the way the year started out. At
the beginning equipment was not
ready to go, but once the classes
got going, everything worked out
fine.
Mr. Larry Samuelson, previ-
ously a shop teacher at Canyon,
was the athletic Director and
freshman basketball coach in
addition to teaching wood and
drafting. Mr. Al Hansen, head
football coach, came from Hart
and taught cycle repair and Wood
II. Mr. Craig Benike, former
wood shop teacher at Mcclay
Junior High in Pacomia, had the
photo classes.
The Arts and Graf ts teacher
was Mr. Creighton Capra, previ-
ously of Placerita. He was
responsible for painting the Sau-
gus High insignia on the gym
floor.
