A slow start seemed to be the
Science Department's problem
this year. With no supplies, biol-
ogy classes saw films and listened
to lectures. These took place in
the lecture hall, which contains
a spotlight, used to light the
demonsfration table, and a pro-
jection booth for films. The lec-
ture hall seats 160 and at times
has been almost completely full.
The Biology Lab has an animal
room, with a few animals,
including
rabits, and mice, and a plant
room.
Science teachers included:
Mr. Walter Prelle, Science-
Math Area Chairman, Mr. David
Okasaki, Mr. Al Gilreath, Mr.
Michael Glahn, Mr. Tom
McAdam, and Mrs. Diana
Szabo.
With no need for supplies other
than books, the Math classes
were off and running at the
beginning of the year. Courses
this year consisted of Trigonome-
try, Algebra I, Algebra IS,
Geometry, and General Math.
Math teachers included: Mr.
William Read, Mr. Gary Phil-
lippi, and Mr. Don Steele .
