RESTORATION COMMITTEE
PROGRESS REPORT
N. Harris
5/27/97
1. Bailer was inspected by CAL-OSHA on 4/29/97. (Hartford
Insurance Co. would not inspect it because Dixon is now using the
State inspectors).
John Millet measured metal thicknesss on the front flue
.
m sheet. He wi 11 perform calculations to determine the effect on
.
allowable boiler pressure with existing flue sheet.
He said that we can use a flat sheet and weld it in
0 instead of flanging and riviting. [This will save us $6,000 on the
cost to replace both flue sheets. We can now complete the boiler
repairs and have it certified well within our existing funds.]
