The Art of Cooking in Newhall-Saugus-Valencia
Newhall Jr. Women's Club Cookbook.

Cookboook by Newhall Junior Women's Club of Newhall-Saugus-Valencia, 1970s or 1980s; probably 1981 or 1982. Spiral bound.

The Junior Woman's Club, aka Junior Women's Club, was a service organization open to women ages 20-35. It was particularly active locally from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. Today (2018) its nearest cohort would probably be the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).

The club produced cookbooks in the 1970s and 1980s and donated proceeds to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

Although published by the parent organizatoin in Illinois, the local cookbooks feature recipes contributed by local residents, including club officers.
